ABOUT

     I have been surrounded by art and creativity my entire life. My Grandmother was an avid painter, and my Grandfather, when home from the military would tinker away in his wood shop. My mother made custom greeting cards that, when opened, aroused as much excitement as the gifts themselves, and she never failed to have her camera ready for all worthy moments. Admittedly, I resisted often to picture taking, but little did I know at the moment, that my mother was gently nudging and guiding me, secretly preparing me then, for the irony of my passion now. I have since learned that in every moment, there is a masterpiece. An image that evokes feeling and wonder, patiently waiting for our impatient attention . Whether immersed in Nature or creating abstract, photography allows me to capture these moments, that would otherwise never exist to the eye. This childish and carefree nature of creativity is the most potent feeling of freedom, and in an effort to share this, I create.
